Our low back pain assessment & coaching services provide a structured, mechanism-driven approach rooted in the McGill Method, built for people who want a clear plan and predictable progress.

Choose Your Level of Support

Pick the option that matches how much support you want after the assessment. Execute the plan independently, or work together for 8 weeks with guided plan adjustments and accountability.

Note: More complex cases, long-standing symptoms, or highly sensitized patterns are typically best served by The Guided Build. 

Payment plans available. A deposit is required to reserve assessment time due to limited monthly intake.

McGill Method Assessment + Report + Plan + Follow-up

The Blue Print 

$1,750

A comprehensive in-person McGill Method Assessment for Mechanical Low Back pain, that identifies your specific trigger pattern, matches to your MRI images, confirms reducing strategies, and delivers a plan you can execute immediately.

 

Includes:

  • 3-hour in-person assessment (East Syracuse)

  • MRI Integration Study (if available) with mechanism matching

  • Written Findings + Plan (clear, actionable, and physician-friendly if requested)

  • 45-min Plan & Education Teleconference  (confirms you understand both the reports and plan)

  • 90-min Reinforcement Session (1 week later) to coach technique and implement the plan

 

Best for: Students  who want the assessment, the roadmap, and the foundational implementation, but do not want ongoing coaching.

 

Outcome: You leave with a repeatable strategy to reduce symptoms, avoid flare cycles, and build capacity with clear progression rules and guidelines .​​

The Blueprint + 8 Weeks Guided Rehabilitation Coaching

The Guided Build 

$3,750

Everything in The Blueprint, plus 8 weeks of coaching to ensure the plan is executed correctly, adjusted to your tolerance, and progressed without gambling on your back.

Includes:

  • Everything in The Blueprint

  • 4 X 30-min ZOOM coaching check-ins  (pre-scheduled)

  • Plan revisions across the 8 weeks, front-loaded when symptoms are volatile

  • Structured reviews every 2 weeks (minimum). Weekly updates are used during the stabilization phase when symptoms are unstable.

  • Mon–Fri support 

  • Progression decisions based on symptom response, tolerance, and movement quality

Best for: Students who want accountability, quicker troubleshooting, and a guided path from “hot” to stable and building.

Outcome: Less guesswork. Cleaner execution. Faster stabilization. More durable progress.

Check-in & Revision Policy: Tuesday and Friday Review window. Unscheduled requests outside the review windows are handled at the next scheduled review unless you’re in a defined flare protocol. Plan revisions are front-loaded and adjusted to your presentation—weekly during stabilization, then tapered as your pattern becomes predictable.​

Support Add-on's

For students (patients) who want additional structure after the assessment, need more coaching time, or want a focused checkpoint to confirm progress and refine the plan.

​Add-ons are available for students who have completed an in-person McGill Method Assessment.

Week 4 to 6 Recalibration (Virtual or In-Person)

The Audit

A focused coached checkpoint at the fourth or sixth week to confirm the plan is working, verify technique, and make the right adjustments, before small drift turns into a flare.​

 

Includes (Virtual or In-Person):

  • Pre-Session Prep:

    • Virtual call review (45-min)

    • Full exercise log* + daily symptom diary review.

  • Live 60-min (Zoom or In-Person)​

  • Post-Session Summary: follow-up email with findings, recommendations, and updated next steps / plan notes)

 

Best for: 

  • Students who have completed a McGill Method Assessment with Brent and want a 4–6 week checkpoint

  • Blueprint students executing independently who want a “course correction”

  • Anyone plateauing, dealing with recurring flare-ups, or unsure what to progress next

  • People who want a professional checkpoint before returning to more load

Outcome: You leave with a clear decision on what’s working, what’s drifting, and exactly what to change next such as, refined technique cues, updated progression rules, and a calibrated plan that keeps momentum without triggering a flare.

Policy: The Audit is available within 8 weeks of starting The Blueprint.

Log requirement: Please bring 4 weeks of logs (simple, structured; doesn’t need to be perfect). If no logs, we will use a structured questionnaire + shorter tracking period first.

4-Week Coaching Extension (post-program) 

Add-on Support Month

A 4-week coaching extension for students who need continued guidance after completing The Guided Build (or who want extra structure after The Blueprint). Same coaching model, delivered in a defined, time-boxed block.

Best for: 

  • Students who made progress but still need hands-on guidance to stay consistent

  • More complex or “hot” cases that need continued stabilization and tighter iteration

  • Students who want accountability while returning to more activity, travel, or higher training demands

Outcome: You maintain forward progress with continued structure and accountability for cleaner execution, faster troubleshooting, and planned progression decisions that taper support as your pattern becomes more predictable.​​

Returning Student Reassessment

For students who have worked with Brent in the past and need a professional reset—whether symptoms returned, training drifted, or the pattern changed.

 

EligibilityPrior students who completed a full assessment within the last 12 months.

  • Within 12 weeks AND symptoms match the previous pattern:

    The Audit is appropriate.
     

  • More than 12 weeks or new pattern

Returning Student Reassessment (or Blueprint depending on complexity)

Outcome:You leave with clarity and direction—what your symptoms and imaging likely mean in practical terms, what to focus on next, and whether an updated in-person mechanical assessment is the right next step.
