Education Is Part of Performance

Preventing unnecessary setbacks requires more than becoming stronger.

Students should understand how training decisions influence adaptation and spinal loading so they can become increasingly capable of making intelligent decisions themselves.

Ultimate Back Fitness and Performance by Professor Stuart McGill serves as required companion reading for Pathway #3 and provides the conceptual foundation for many of the training principles discussed throughout the coaching process.
